Dr. Elisabeth Easley is a practicing Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. She was awarded this prestigious board certification after rigorous examination on implant and periodontal technique and research. She holds a BA from UC Davis, a Dental Doctorate and Master of Public Health from A.T. Still University, and a Master of Science and Certificate in Periodontics from The University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Easley has extensive training and certification in the administration of safe and comfortable IV conscious sedation. She offers this service to improve her patients’ experience at Implant & Periodontal Associates NW. She believes in creating trusting relationships with her patients, which she achieves through active listening and storytelling during procedures.
With her patient care, Dr. Easley strives for excellence and delivering the highest quality periodontal and surgical technique while creating a welcoming and compassionate environment. Her areas of practice include a wide variety of surgical procedures including regeneration of bone and soft tissue, high quality implant care, surgically accelerated procedures for orthodontics, laser periodontal therapy, and removal of wisdom teeth. If one could have a specialty within a specialty, Dr. Easley’s would be pediatric surgery and has become well known for her skill in working with children.
A forever believer in striving for excellence, Dr. Easley stays educated in the latest techniques and technologies. She is a certified Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP/LAPIP) provider and has conducted research in Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) derivatives for accelerated healing after surgery. Dr. Easley has been acknowledged by many awards including the Greater Seattle 2018 Top Dentists, Recipient of the Straumann (Implant) 2018 AAP Award, Chief Resident during her residency, Who’s Who Award in 2011, American Hospital Association’s National Healthcare Career Network First Place Scholarship Recipient, and numerous other awards during her years at UC Davis.
She enjoys teaching and collaborating with fellow dentists and specialists as well as mentoring dental students. She has lectured on a variety of topics including implants and laser therapy, soft tissue surgery, systemic links with oral disease, oral pathology, and her favorite topic- the techniques of pediatric surgery. She presents several times annually at local hygiene symposiums and dental societies. Nationally she has presented at periodontal conferences, and recently taught a continuing education lecture in Scottsdale at a women in dentistry convention.
Dr. Easley grew up in Northern California on a ranch and loves the outdoors. She met her husband Shane, a previous Air Force Pilot who now flies for FedEx, during her residency in Nebraska. On any given weekend you can find them exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest through hiking, camping, or enjoying the culinary scene. Dr. Easley has many passions outside of dentistry including travel, cooking, gardening, teaching fitness classes, and volunteering. Dr. Easley is a strong believer in volunteering her time in both her local and global communities. She has served on international dental trips to Costa Rica, Cambodia, and the Dominican Republic; she also volunteers locally with homeless and veteran organizations and no kill animal rescues.
