Michael Cohen

DDS, MSD, FACD
With a DDS from McGill University and an MS and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Washington, Dr. Michael Cohen is one of the most renowned and experienced periodontal and implant dentists and educators in the world.

Dr. Cohen has authored several continuing education articles, and is the editor of the dental school textbook Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning, Volumes I , II (Quintessence, 2008, 2011). He is currently affiliate assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington, and he has lectured nationally and internationally regarding comprehensive treatment planning.

He is also founder of the Seattle Study Club, a “university without walls” for dental practitioners, with approximately 7,000 members in 250 chapters in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, England, Taiwan, and Japan.

Bob Gottlieb

DDS
Robert “Bob” Gottlieb received his dental degree from the University of Illinois in 1975 and his Specialty Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Washington in 1977. He has held teaching positions at three universities and has been in private practice for over 30 years.

Dr. Bob Gottlieb has served as the president of the Snohomish County Dental Society, president of Washington State Society of Periodontists, and chairman of the Shoreline Community College Dental Hygiene Advisory Board. In addition, he has directed and mentored numerous study clubs as well as lectured extensively throughout the United States including the ADA, ADHA, and AAP national meetings on periodontics, implants and practice management.

He is a board member and founding member of the PreViser Company, which develops innovative software for improving periodontal disease diagnosis, risk analysis and treatment.
